This AAPM Member Focus features Tanya Juneja, MD.

Dr. Juneja is a resident physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Currently in her PGY-2 year, she is passionate about learning and advancing the field of pain medicine.

“As a current Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) resident, I am dedicated to understanding and addressing the complexities of pain management. My enthusiasm extends to my involvement with the American Academy of Pain Medicine (AAPM), where I have the honor of working on podcast art, social media content, and collaborating with others,” she says. “This experience allows me to merge my creative interests with my medical training, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge and improving patient care in pain medicine.”

Dr. Juneja is particularly interested in pursuing interventional pain management and is dedicated to advocating for advancements in pain management techniques and compassionate patient care. 

She is keen on exploring research and networking opportunities within pain medicine to further her knowledge and impact in the field.

Her dedication to PM&R and pain management, coupled with her active participation in AAPM, underscores her commitment to improving patient care and advancing the field of pain medicine.
