Dear AAPM Member,
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with family, friends, and fantastic food. It’s hard to believe December is already upon us!
Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday, and I invite you to join the AAPM Foundation in supporting Scholarships for Change. These scholarships provide financial assistance to talented pain medicine fellows, nurse practitioners, physician associates, and other non-physician pain champions to attend PainConnect 2025, our annual meeting in Austin, TX, from April 3–6, 2025.
Our goal is to raise $7,500 to fund six scholarships for this pivotal event that fosters collaboration, professional growth, and innovation in pain medicine. Every additional dollar raised will allow even more rising stars to attend this not-to-miss meeting. Your tax-deductible contribution can make a real difference, and we encourage you to share the campaign on social media to inspire others. You’ll find shareable materials on the donation web page.
Looking ahead, our AAPM Board of Directors and Nominating Committee Elections open on December 12. Please ensure your preferred email is up to date by logging into your account to review and update your contact information.
Additionally, the Call for Abstracts for PainConnect 2025 is now open. Share your research with top professionals and help shape the future of pain care. Visit the PainConnect website for more details and submission guidelines.
Finally, we’re thrilled to host the 4th Annual AAPM + MIT Innovation Challenge Pitch Competition at PainConnect 2025. This “Shark Tank”-style event invites innovators worldwide to present groundbreaking solutions in pain management, nutrition, sleep medicine, and more. Learn more on our Innovation Hub and join us for this exciting competition.
Thank you for your continued dedication to advancing pain medicine. Together, we are shaping a brighter future for the field and the patients we serve.
With Appreciation,
Charles Argoff, MD
AAPM President
