AAPM Call for Nominations

Each year AAPM invites Active Members to participate in an open call for Board and Nominating Committee nominations, as well as Annual Meeting Awards nominations. The 2020 call for nominations is now closed. Information about the 2021 call for nominations will be available in summer 2020.

2020-2021 Board and Nominating Committee Slate of Candidates

The deadline to submit additional nominations by petition is Thursday, November 7, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. Central Time.

AAPM Voting Member

The American Academy of Pain Medicine is pleased to announce the slate of candidates for the 2020-2021 AAPM elections. This slate is not a ballot. The slate reflects nominees proposed by the AAPM Nominating Committee who are eligible to serve in the open positions on the 2020-2021 Board of Directors and Nominating Committee.

Available Positions

1 President-Elect: 1 year term
1 Treasurer: 3 year term
2 Directors-At-Large: 3 years term
2 Nominating Committee Members: 2 year term

Eligible individuals interested in nomination by petition must complete and submit the Potential Candidate Information form, the Petition for Inclusion, and the Candidate Profile form (all included in the document at the petition link above) along with a one-page résumé, and professional photograph to the AAPM Headquarters Office.

2020 AAPM Award Call for Nominations

The annual AAPM awards identify and celebrate the accomplishments of individuals whose endeavors improve the care of people with pain. Voting members may nominate individuals for consideration by the Awards Committee. Awards are presented at the AAPM Annual Meeting to those who contribute to the field of pain medicine in social, political, scientific, or clinical arenas. Learn more about AAPM’s awards, including a history of previous honorees.
