AAPM PainConnect 2026: Call for Scientific Poster Abstracts

The AAPM call for abstracts 2026 is now open through November 11, 2026. The American Academy of Pain Medicine (AAPM) invites you to submit your scientific poster abstract for PainConnect 2026, our annual meeting designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and best practices in pain medicine. Whether you’re a researcher, clinician, educator, or innovator, this is your opportunity to share findings, case studies, or insights that can advance the field. Visit our PainConnect 2026 website for more details. Up to six of the top abstract submissions will be selected to be presented from the podium and featured in Pain Medicine Journal. Posters must be presented at PainConnect 2026 in Salt Lake City, UT to be fully accepted. Poster presentations will take place on Friday, March 6, 2026, and Saturday, March 7, 2026.

Who Can Submit?
  • Lead authors only; they must notify all co‑authors before submitting.

  • Abstracts must be original—not previously published, accepted for publication, or presented elsewhere.

  • For industry‑sponsored posters, there is a submission fee. These include one full conference registration if accepted.

Submission Requirements
  • abstract title and category, author(s) contact details, affiliations, and disclosures.

  • 300‑word maximum for the abstract text (excluding references).

  • Include three citations from within the past 10 years.

  • State any funding sources.

  • Format your abstract to follow the typical structure: Introduction / Statement of the Problem, Methods, Results, Conclusions. Use STROBE guidelines when applicable (especially for observational studies).
