AAPM has recently joined six (6) other Pain Specialty Societies on a letter to the Medicare Administrative Contractor Medical Directors supporting coverage of epidural injections for management of chronic pain.  The letter provides detailed information about the effects of interlaminar and transforaminal epidural injections on pain, physical and occupational functioning, and quality of life.
